After earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, I’ve spent the last 28 years building a rewarding career in healthcare. My experience spans the hospital setting, clinic and urgent care environments and even school nursing.
For the past 2.5 years, I’ve been living my dream as a Vascular Access RN on an IV team at a Twin Cities hospital. Ever since starting as a new RN nearly 29 years ago, I’ve always had a passion for IV access and intravenous therapy. Whether in the ICU, ER, OR, or out on the floor, I’ve seen firsthand how vital direct IV access is to patient care. Now, as I step beyond the hospital setting, at IBC, I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience to help others understand how IV therapy works and why it matters.
Outside of work, I’m happiest watching hockey, spending time with my husband and our four adult children and enjoying lake life at our cabin. I’m also an animal lover through and through-we share our lives with a flock of chickens, one duck, three barn cats, and our big English Cream Retriever, Bo.
